Practicing at Hendrix (Lots of pictures!)
We all went to the Hendrix campus this afternoon so I could practice taking pictures. It was such a beautiful day! I got some cute ones of David and Anna. I don’t know if they’re what the instructor had in mind, but hey, they’re the most important subjects to me! I realized later I was so concerned about framing that I didn’t pay enough attention to lighting. Maybe next time.
Sasha got to go too! These may not be great photos, but they’re good ones of her, as she doesn’t like to have her picture taken.

I LOVE them!!! I wish I would’ve taken the course. I thought about it but didn’t get around to it in time:(.

Sweet! That is great to get out there and practice. Hendrix has some awesome spots.

what class are you taking?
It’s “Photography: Learn the Basics” with Mike Kemp. (Becké and Casie took it last semester.) Do you get that brochure from UCA every spring and fall with classes they are offering the community? It’s in there, or you can see a list of classes here.

do you have a big daddy camera?
Nope, but I really want one! I’ve got a Canon point-and-shoot type. It’s pretty good, but my biggest frustration is that I want it to take the picture the instant I push the button, and it wants to think about it for a second, during which time that great Anna-smile has deteriorated.
Isn’t it funny after you start having kids that you get interested in taken tons of picutes and you even take classes? Beautiful pics!
