Dog Photography, Part 2

Sunday before last, we went down to the All About Labs ranch for a workday. Well, David worked, and I took pictures. :)

I’m leading with my favorite shot, just in case you get bored and don’t look at all these.

Yep, a lot of these are black dogs. Did you know black dogs are the hardest to get adopted? I wonder if that’s because it’s hard to get a good picture of them. You have to set your exposure a little lighter for them to come out right. I want to practice on black dogs a lot and learn to take awesome pictures of them!

Joining us that day was our friend Jennifer, who has helped us in our dog-rescuing adventures. Wait a minute… actually, she started our dog-rescuing adventures.

Beautiful dogs, terrific pictures. Here’s wishing everyone has a permanent home as a Christmas present!

Yes, yes – here’s wishing they get a home this Christmas! You are getting rather awesome at taking pictures of dogs! Love them! They make me smile!

Marlow (the 1st one) and Ember (the 3rd/4th one) are adopted, so they’ll be home for Christmas! All of the little puppies except the black one are adopted as well.

Did I know Ember got adopted or is that a new development? Her people are going to love her. :)

Amazing pictures, Jennifer!! We have a hard time getting a good picture of our black cat too – not enough contrast or something… =)
